Mark Vickers
Mark (he/him) is a Licensed Psychologist who received his Master of Arts in School/Child Psychology at Mount Saint Vincent University. His undergraduate and graduate research looked at learning and language development/disorders, writing instruction and assessment, and mental health services for young adults.
Mark has spent most of his career in the public sector in New Brunswick at the intersection of the community mental health and school systems providing assessment and intervention with children and youth with complex social, emotional, behavioural, and learning concerns. He also has experience in non-profit and private practice settings. He has extensive experience in psychological assessment and counselling for children, youth, and young adults.
Mark is passionate about a collaborative, strengths-based approach. He is experienced with and engaged in working with various partners in the care of the people with whom he works. He also has experiencing supervising graduate students and psychometrists.
Mark lives in Saint John, New Brunswick. Outside of his clinical practice, Mark devotes part of his time volunteering for community events and boards for various agencies. He loves attending concerts, travelling, and getting stuck in rabbit holes preparing for and participating in local trivia night.
