Aurélia Mir-Orefice
Aurélia is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who obtained her M.Sc. in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary. Her graduate research focuses on bilingualism and early literacy, specifically handwriting and vocabulary development. Additionally, Aurélia is fluent in both French and English, and can provide services in both languages.
Aurélia has received formal training in the use of various standardized assessment tools throughout her graduate program. She has received training in delivering complete psycho-educational assessments in both clinical and school-based settings. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults with various developmental, mental health and co-existing conditions. Aurélia hopes to create an inclusive, welcoming space for her clients.
Aurélia has lived in Montreal most of her life and is fully bilingual. Now that she lives in Calgary, she enjoys exploring the city in her free time. She has spent many years at the pool, competing and teaching swimming lessons to children and adults.
