Theresa Siemens

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Theresa Siemens is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master’s degree in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary. Her graduate research explored how children with ADHD perceive their abilities, with a focus on growth mindset.

Theresa has extensive training in psychoeducational assessment, including the diagnosis of ADHD, learning disabilities, giftedness, anxiety, and depression. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, and has experience supporting youth on the autism spectrum and with other developmental differences through a combination of parent consultation and therapeutic support. Her work includes strategies for emotion regulation, behavior, friendship skills, self-esteem, daily routines, and strengthening parent-child relationships. Theresa comes from a strength-based perspective and focuses on providing clear, realistic recommendations that families can apply in everyday life. She aims to support meaningful, lasting change and helps clients feel understood, capable, and empowered.

Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing, competitive laser tag, and going on mountain adventures with her dog, Benji.
