Tanya Marks

Speech-Language Pathologist

Tanya Marks received her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Western Ontario and is registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA). She is also a registered member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).

Tanya has experience working with a wide variety of pediatric speech, language and social communication delays and disorders. She also provides assessment for families seeking SLP services as part of a comprehensive evaluation.

Tanya has received training in Orofacial myology through the International Association of Orofacial myology. She is certified in Hanen’s program “It Takes Two to Talk”, a program for parents of young children who have language delays. Tanya has also completed courses in play-based therapy, playful learning, childhood apraxia of speech, Gestalt language processing, and AAC.

Tanya offers services in English and French, both in-person and virtually. Therapy sessions are play-based and child-led. She takes a functional and client-centered approach and frequently collaborates with team members, such as physicians, teachers, psychologists, and Behavior Consultants to ensure high quality of care.
