With a career spanning 19 years, Jodi began her journey in Vancouver, BC, as a trauma-informed Family Support Worker. Her role involved assisting and advocating for young parents, street-entrenched youth, and their families, laying a solid foundation for her expertise in the field of counselling. In 2011, she transitioned into her role as a Mental Health Capacity Building Program Manager, gaining experience in child and adolescent social and emotional development, mental health and wellness, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and diverse learning abilities, which cultivated her passion for holistic psychological wellness. These experiences fostered her authenticity and compassion for genuine care, which are at the core of her current practice.
Jodi Ann aims to establish a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where you and your child feel welcomed, validated, and safe to heal, grow, and thrive. She is committed to building a solid and trusting relationship through best-practice integrative bio-psycho-social-spiritual approaches. She embraces the healing power of play and its necessary function for learning and overall healthy growth and development. Taking into account every client’s unique journey, she recognizes and values that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach and uses neuroscientific collaborative strength-based approaches to support her clients.
Outside of her professional life, Jodi is a proud mother of two young adults. She finds joy in spending time with loved ones, engaging in creative arts, exploring nature, staying active, travelling, and playing with her beloved dogs.
