Registered Psychologist

Irene is a Registered Psychologist who completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is also a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor with the Association of Play Therapists. Irene comes to Hexagon Psychology with over a decade of experience working with children, youth and adults. She also provides supervision to Registered Provisional Psychologists with interest in clinical child psychology using play and expressive therapeutic modalities. Irene is also training to provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

Irene is a caring, gentle and enthusiastic clinician with vast experience in working on interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care. She lives with her husband Brian and her two daughters in the Rocky View region. She is enthusiastic about culinary arts and spending time outdoors. Her heart rests with the Atlantic Ocean and Newfoundland culture.
