Chris Pawluk
Chris is a Registered Psychologist who obtained his Masters in Educational Psychology from Massey University in New Zealand. He comes to Hexagon Psychology with over twenty years of experience working with children, youth, and adults. He is passionate about improving the life of his clients by giving them practical ways to manage their stress and emotions.
Chris has specific training and experience in the identification and treatment of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders, anger management, stress, learning difficulties, Dyslexia, Intellectual Disabilities, emotional self-control, anxiety, depression, giftedness, and Autism Spectrum Disorders, to name a few.
Over the years, Chris has worked with universities across Canada to facilitate research projects and offer high-quality trainings for teachers, psychologists, speech pathologists, and occupational therapists. He also holds a Clinical Supervisor role within the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary for his continued supervision and mentorship of graduate students in the Counselling or School and Applied Child Psychology programs.
Chris is an avid photographer and often escapes city-life to spend quality time in the mountains or on trails. He enjoys spending time with his wife and family in Carstairs.
