Abdullah Bernier
Abdullah is a Registered Provisional Psychologist and obtained his M.Sc. in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary. His graduate research focused on the resettlement experiences of refugee parents who have children on the autism spectrum. His dissertation research will also aim to serve families of children/adolescents on the autism spectrum.
Abdullah has received formal training in the assessment of various standardized measures throughout his graduate program. He has received quality training in delivering psycho-educational assessments under the supervision of registered psychologists in both clinical and school-based settings. In addition, Abdullah has over 8 years of experience working with children and adolescents with various developmental conditions, particularly autism.
Abdullah lives in Airdrie with his family and loves to spend time in the mountains as much as possible. He enjoys rock-climbing, weight-training, the outdoors, as well as the occasional video-gaming session whenever he gets a spare moment.
