        Confidential support if you or someone you know is going through family or dating violence.

         

          Indigenous

          Hope for Wellness (24/7)

          Hope for Wellness offers immediate help to Indigenous people across Canada. Telephone and online chat services are available in English and French. Telephone support is also available upon request in Cree, Ojibway, and Inuktitut.

           

          Indian Residential School Crisis Helpline (24/7)

          Provides immediate support for former Residential School students.

          Mental Health

          Mental Health Helpline (24/7)

          Confidential support, information, and referrals for Albertans experiencing mental health concerns.

           

            Airdrie Urgent Mental Health

            This service offers mental health assessment and a single therapy session. Individuals need to go through triage and register with Urgent Care.

            Available Monday – Friday from:
            2:30 pm – 9:00 pm MST

            Saturday and Sunday from:
            10:00 am – 5:00 pm MST

             

              Distress Centre Calgary

              Distress Centre Calgary provides 24-hour crisis support in Calgary and southern Alberta through a 24-hour crisis line, email and daily chat.

                Sexual Violence

                Alberta One Line for Sexual Violence

                Association of Albera Sexual Assault Services offers specialized support, information, and resources for survivors, support people and professionals impacted by recent or historical sexual assault, abuse, and/or harassment.

                9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline provides national suicide prevention and support in Canada.

                  Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only e-mental health service offering free, multilingual, and confidential support to help all young people.

                  Calgary ConnecTeen

                  Canada’s first peer-based chat and text helpline gives you the space to talk about your problems confidentially.

                  Available Monday – Friday from:
                  3:00 pm – 10:00 pm MST

                  Saturday and Sunday from:
                  12:00 pm – 10:00 pm MST

                  Outside of these hours, adult responders answer the contacts.
